About Ali Chipouras
I’m a communications and strategy consultant based in Bozeman, Montana. After a decade working in sustainability across the public and private sectors, I started Aspen Leaf Consulting to do what I love most — partnering with inspiring people and organizations to turn ideas into action.
My approach is grounded in understanding where you are and where you want to go. I take the time to learn your vision, your people, and your capacity, then build strategies, communication, and storytelling tools that feel authentic and help move your work forward. With experience in project management and building programs from the ground up, I bring a systems-thinking approach to navigating how big ideas meet real-world constraints and balancing the goals of multiple stakeholders.
Aspen Leaf Consulting is intentionally small. When you work with me, you get a collaborative partner invested in your success from start to finish.

How I Can Support You
Every organization’s needs are different. I offer flexible support that meets you where you are, from big-picture strategy to hands-on communication and program support.
Why “Aspen Leaf”?
Connection
Aspens don’t grow alone. What looks like a grove of individual trees is actually an interconnected system, linked below ground through shared roots. The idea that growth is stronger when it happens together has always resonated with me and mirrors how I approach my work — building relationships, strengthening networks, and helping organizations move toward shared goals.
Seasonality
I’ve always loved the way aspens shift throughout the year, changing color with the seasons. I believe seasons of change are not only natural — they’re necessary. Creating impact means adapting over time, responding to new information, and evolving alongside your organization and community.
Individuality
Aspen groves are beautifully imperfect. Each tree and leaf has its own character, while still being part of something larger. I bring that same mindset to my work — honoring each organization’s unique identity rather than forcing one-size-fits-all solutions.
